LG unveiled the Optimus Vu to debut in Korea this coming March. This LTE phone runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 32GB of ROM and a 2,080 mAh battery. But what’s mostly drawing attention to this phone is its huge 5-inch screen with 4:3 aspect ratio. With such a big screen, the LG Optimus Vu is halfway between a smartphone and a tablet.
The downside of the Vu? It will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, eventhought LG promised an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich shortly after its release.
The Optimus Vu will come equipped with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. One last thing with the Vu, as a semi-tablet phone, the Vu just like the Samsung Galaxy Notes is the ideal smartphone for note taking, and what more can you ask for that ? A stylus, that’s right, the Vu comes with a stylus allowing users to take notes and drawings.
The real question I have is how big is too big?
