Google’s flagship device made by Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is finally available in the US on Verizon Wireless.
The Galaxy Nexus LTE is becoming the first Android device to run Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 in the US. This update to Android’s OS bring stability to the Android eco-system as it combines the best of Gingerbread 2.3 and Honeycomb 3.0. In addition, Ice Cream Sandwich comes with a redesigned user interface and new features such as face unlock.
The Galaxy Nexus LTE with its huge 4.65-inch touchscreen is the phone to beat and will definitely attract iPhone 4S fans. This Samsung device, comes with an NFC chip, making it ready for Google wallet.
It’s only drawback? Its steep price. The Samsung Nexus device is the most expensive smartphone on the market right now with a $200 price tag with a 2 year agreement with Verizon Wireless. Hopefully it’ll become more affordable in the future, despite the fact that it is worth it.
