Acer is preparing to launch the Acer Iconia Tab A200 a follow up tablet to last year’s Iconia Tab A500. This new tablet will be ready for launch at the 2012 CES Las Vegas show next year and will most likely come with Ice Cream Sandwich.
Like its predecessor, the A200 will be powered by Nvidia’s dual-core 1 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. This 10.1 inch touchscreen tablet will have a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and will be lighter than the Iconia Tab A500 weighing just 1.5 pounds.
The A200 will be available in two colors, black titanium or metallic red. In terms of connectivity, the A200 will come with a USB port and a microSD card slot. But the most interesting part is the integration of Clear.fi which is basically Acer’s own version of DLNA. Thanks to Clear.fi you can share your tablet contents on your TV, smartphone or anything with Clear.fi enabled.
The Acer Iconia Tab A200 is rumored to be priced at US$299. Not a bad price for a tablet with so much to offer.
