Apple stopping Australian retailer Kogan to sell Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

Kogan

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been banned from Australia since Apple’s legal action against Samsung regarding copyright infringement. The famous Android tablet by Samsung has been unavailable in Australia since then. That was until online retailer Kogan decided to supply the Australian market with Samsung tablet from an undisclosed source.

Unfortunately for Aussie Android fans, Apple sent a legal letter to Kogan and is demanding the Australian retailer to cease distribution of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia.

The result? Kogan did not really have a choice to avoid any legal battle with Apple and just removed the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from its tablets. Until the feud between Apple and Samsung is resolved, I guess there will not be any Samsung Galaxy Tablet in Australia. What a shame, with the holiday season coming soon, the only other way to get a Samsung Galaxy Tablet is by paying a premium and import the device from the US for example. But is it worth?
