Sprint is preparing to launch its most affordable 4G device on August 21st, the Samsung Conquer 4G. At a price of $99 on a two year contract, the Samsung Conquer 4G allies speed and affordability.
This Android device will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered by a single-core 1GHz processor. In terms of memory, the Conquer will come with 2GB of memory expandable with a 32GB memory card via microSD card.
The screen on this phone is as per most phone nowadays, that is 3.5-inch. The difference lies in its resolution of 320×480 pixels which is below the standard 480×800, hence images displayed on the Samsung Conquer will not be as sharp as on most phones.
The phone will have dual cameras, with a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and zoom in the back and another one in the front. Tech wise, the phone will come with other standard features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, hotspot capabilities and GPS.
That’s a lot of features for such a low price. If you don’t mind the lower screen resolution, the Samsung Conquer 4G is a very good and affordable Android phone. Definitely worth it.
