ZTE is going to get noticed. That’s the least we can say. The Chinese Android manufacturer teamed up with wireless distributor Brightpoint in the UK. In case you didn’t know, ZTE is behind Orange’s famous San Francisco (aka rebranded ZTE Blade) and the newly released Orange Monte Carlo (aka rebranded ZTE Skate).
Not that ZTE is looking for recognition, well kind of, ZTE is trying to get noticed by consumers as a reliable brand.
The Orange Monte Carlo is a good example, the 4.3-inch touchscreen device with a 800MHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera is a rebranded ZTE Skate by Orange. And its a very good Android phone too, and ZTE is not shy anymore about the device it produces. The Orange Monte Carlo runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and have FM radio, Wi-Fi and even DLNA for your television set.
ZTE is following HTC’s path, hopefully it’ll do just as well.
