News regarding the Sony S1 and S2 tablets are very rare, however, thanks to the folks at Notebook Italia we have a video of the S1 tablet in action.
The Sony S1 tablet is a 9.4-inch tablet running Android 3.x Honeycomb with Sony’s PlayStation Suite on it. The Sony S1 will be the first tablet to be able to run Sony Playstation certified games. The S1 tablet will also support Sony’s Qriocity music and video service.
The design of the Sony S1 tablet is like a pad with thicker areas around the top of the tablet for better handling. The S1 tablet will feature dual-cameras for video chat. The Sony S1 tablet is rumored to retail for €599 in Europe.
The other unseen tablet in the video is the clamshell like S2 tablet. This dual 5.5-inch tablet is rumored to retail for €649.
Pricing and official release date have yet to be confirmed, I can’t wait to handle an S2 tablet, it looks so fine!
