Acer started rolling out its Android 3.1 Honeycomb global update to the Iconia Tab A500 for the last few days. It seems like it has finally reached Canada and the US.
The update to Android 3.1 has not been so smooth in the US. Some devices have reportedly been bricked while others did not get the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb update. Bricked devices are covered under warranty, but its still a lot of pain and work to go through.
Aside from India, the update to the Acer Iconia Tab should still take place worldwide OTA. The update to your device is determined by your serial number and should be available now if not in the next few days.
