Cincinnati Bell is introducing their new HSPA+ network. As one of the nation’s smallest carrier with over 1/2 a million customers, Cincinnati Bell’s network is twice as fast as the competition.
With this new network, Cincinnati Bell is introducing their first 4G phone, the Huawei Ascend X 4G. This phone is also known as the Huawei Ideos X6 or Spice Mi 410 in India.
This handset runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The Huawei Ascend X 4G features a 4.1-inch touchscreen with 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB ROM expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
The Ascend X 4G comes with a 5 megapixel camera, 720p video recording, HDMI out and GPS. It is a Quad-Band & 4G Network phone ready with a modem with download speeds up to 14.4Mbps.
The Huawei Ascend X 4G from Cincinnati Bell can be yours for just $99 with a two year contract or for $350 with no string attached. Nice price for a 4G device, just too bad that it runs Android 2.2 Froyo.
