Samsung Galaxy S2 coming in July to US and Canada

[UPDATE] Bell to launch Samsung Galaxy S2 July 14 in Canada

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is really taking its time for the US and Canadian release. Up to now, no official US carrier has announced a release date, but Canadian Wireless carrier SaskTel posted a tweet stating the following,

We will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S II device in the next month that has the dual core. ^KK

The tweet has since then been removed but this was enough to stir up Samsung enthusiasts hoping for a launch in July. If this is true and since Bell is sharing its cell towers with Sasktel, this could mean that Bell should have the Samsung Galaxy S2 coming soon.

No canadian carriers have announced the Samsung Galaxy S2 on their network. But if regional carrier Sakstel from Saskatchewan will offer the Galaxy S2, then the bigger player such as Bell, Rogers and Telus should also offer it shortly.

The US and Canadian release of the Samsung Galaxy S2 should both occur in July. At least that’s all we can speculate for now.

We’ll keep you posted!
