Toshiba is officially launching its first Android tablet in Australia. The tablet known as the Toshiba Thrive will be simply known as the Toshiba Tablet (AT100) in Australia.
The AT100 runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb, the latest and greatest Android OS for tablets. The Toshiba tablet AT100 will be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The 10.1-inch tablet with dual-cameras will have a wide range of connectivity options. From full sized USB port, to HDMI, to SD card, Wi-Fi and DLNA, the AT100 is ready for entertainment.
The Toshiba AT100 also comes in a variety of back color templates, from blue, green, pink, white and yellow.
In addition to the Australian launch, Toshiba confirmed that it will also launch the Thrive in New Zealand by the end of June.
The tablet will retail for NZ$799 (USD $650). Other accesories will cost from NZ$39.95 (USD $33) for the interchangeable back lids to NZ$129.00 (USD $105) for the multimedia docking station.
