HTC is really active in the Android world. This week, HTC just released the HTC Wildfire S in India.
This smartphone runs the latest Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 600 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM. The Wildfire S also features a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash.
The HTC Wildfire S supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and HSPA/WCDMA (900/2100 MHz).
As with most of HTC’s smartphone, the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread is overlayed with HTC’s proprietary HTC Sense UI. No biggie, at least it comes loaded with the latest Android version.
But the real deal is the price, the HTC Wildfire S will be offered at just Rs 14,700 (USD $325). For a base introductory phone and the great quality of HTC’s product, that’s a fantastic price.
