Casual game maker, PopCap is ready to launch its first game on the Android platform.
With an exclusive two weeks deal with Amazon, PopCap will first release Chuzzle a puzzle strategy type game. The deal is available right now and for the next two weeks. The price for this game will be free on its first release day, May 17 and will cost $2.99 afterwards.
“Our relationship with Amazon is pivotal to PopCap’s overall strategy in bringing a growing roster of mobile titles to the ever-widening base of smartphone users,” noted Giordano Bruno Contestabile, PopCap’s senior director of global product and business strategy for mobile.
For this reason, PopCap is also granting another two weeks exclusive deal to upcoming game “Plants vs Zombies”. The deal will happen later on this month and the game will also be free on its first day only. After that, it will also cost $2.99.
After that, the game will be available on the Android Market. Note that Amazon Appstore is only available in the USA for the moment.
PopCap is a leader in casual games and you can find their games on multiple platforms, from the Iphone, Ipod, PC, Nintendo, on the web and now on Android.
