Android is getting popular even more everyday, and with the many devices available on the market right now, which one should you get?
What is the hottest Android device at the moment? Well, the folks at CNET have voted that the phone to beat is LG’s G2X.
The LG G2X is a marvel, running on Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz processor, switching between home menus or different apps is as smooth as you could ever imagine. Despite a small 512MB of RAM, games also run flawlessly on this powerhouse. The only drawback in all this, is that the phone tends to get warm in the back, if not hot at times.
Pictures taken with the 8 megapixel camera display very sharply on the 4 inch touchscreen, or even on your DLNA enabled TV. Combine this with access to on demand and live TV from T-Mobile TV and you’re all set for great entertainment.
Finally, the biggest plus an Android fan can wish for, is a stock Android phone, and the LG G2X is just that. LG did not introduce any UI of its own, and went for Android 2.2 Froyo. Althought Froyo is a bit outdated, an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread should be available in the summer.
I’m just hoping all manufacturers follow LG’s move to deliver great handset with just Android on it, nothing else, just a plain stock Android. That would be awesome.
