The half-phone half-laptop Motorola Atrix is schedule to make its UK debut today on the Orange wireless carrier.
The Motorola Atrix comes with Android 2.2 Froyo, running on a dual-core processor. It will have 16 GB of ROM and 1GB of RAM with a huge 4 inch screen. Dual cameras will be available, with the rear one being a 5 megapixel and the front one a 2 megapixel.
No more password to remember or swipe to do on your qHD screen as a biometric fingerprint reader will also be available on the Motorola Atrix.
Probably the most interesting options this phone has, are the optional multimedia dock to add 3 USB ports and 1 HDMI port, and the Lapdock. The latter will turn your mobile phone into a laptop with a 11.6 inch screen, a three cell battery for up to 8 hours of battery life. Very interesting option since with specs like these, this phone is really just as powerful as a netbook, if not more.
This phone will be available on Orange from £35 per month with a two year contract requiring a voice and data plan.
