HTC and Verizon Wireless are ready to launch on April 28 the successor of the Incredible – the Droid Incredible 2.
Based on the previous success of the Incredible smartphone, the Incredible 2 will be a global phone supporting 3G connectivity in 125 countries and data service in over 200 countries.
The Incredible 2 will have a 4 inch Super LCD display, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 768Mb of RAM and can act as a mobile hot-spot for up to five devices.
Camera wise, the HTC Droid Incredible 2 will have an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual flash as well as a front 1.3 megapixel camera for video recording or chat purposes.
The only drawback at the moment, is the Android version it comes with – 2.2 Froyo with HTC’s Sense user interface. Hopefully that will be temporary as we can be only hope that they will come out with a Gingerbread update.
The phone will be available at the price of $199.99 with a new two year contract on Verizon Wireless.
