Are you excited about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 release but are turned off because of its size increase? Like really, how much bigger phones do we need? Well worry no more as Samsung is apparently preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.
I guess the term “mini” is relative to what we compare it to. The rumored device will feature a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen, which in perspective is smaller than the 5 inch screen of its big brother the Galaxy S4. But when you think about it, 4.3 inch is still not so small since Apple’s iPhone 5 screen is 4 inches.
In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will be powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The S4 mini should be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Many variants of the S4 mini will be released, from the one supporting LTE, HSPA+ and dual-SIM cards. Basically, Samsung is planning a worldwide release this summer, probably to compete against Apple’s budget iPhone.
The S4 mini will not be lacking features thought, with an 8 megapixel camera and a hypothetical price tag around $400, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini should find itself lots of buyers as it would seem to be the perfect buy for your money.
Nothing official as this all comes from a leaked support page from Samsung, but we are hoping to have an official statement from Samsung regarding the potential release of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini this summer.
