HTC just released its top of the line Android device in India, the HTC Butterfly also known as HTC Droid DNA in the USA.
This powerful Android phone lies within the phablet boundary with a 5-inch full HD Super LCD 3. Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card, this phone is also one of the most expensive at launch in India. With a manufacturer suggested retail price of 44,900 Rs ( 835$ USD), the HTC Butterfly is not for everyone.
At least, despite its high price, the HTC Butterfly should deliver pretty good performances, and is packed with high end features. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing one. NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Beats Audio are standard features available with this phone.
Software wise, the HTC Butterfly/ Droid DNA comes loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgradable to Android 4.2 overlayed with HTC’s own Sense UI.
All in all, the HTC Butterfly/ Droid DNA offers some pretty solid performances and despite its high price is a smartphone that’s worth a look at.
