Ever dropped your phone in the water? If you’ve answered yes to this question, then Lenovo’s latest Android phone is for you. That is if it ever gets distributed outside of Asia.
The Lenovo A660 is an Android smartphone that is certified IP67, which in everyday terms, means that it is both waterproof and dustproof. How waterproof? According to Lenovo, the A660 can be submerged up to one meter in the water for around 30 minutes. So don’t expect to swim with it, but its definitely a life saver should you accidentally drop your phone in the water.
Aside from that the phone features a 4 inch Corning Gorilla glass touchscreen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. At the heart of this Lenovo phone, is a dual-core processor running at 1 GHz.
Another great feature this Ice Cream Sandwich phone has is it’s dual-SIM capabilities. In terms of camera, the Lenovo A660 comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.
The release date and price of the Lenovo A660 have not been determined yet. Hopefully by the end of the year maybe?
