ZTE has announced the release of the Grand X aka Mimosa X in the UK this coming August.
The ZTE Grand X is a mid range phone with a 4.3in qHD powered by a 1GHz nVidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and 512MB. The phone comes with a very limited amount of 4GB of storage, but can easily be increased thanks to its microSD card slot.
The Grand X will come with stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, so that is a big plus for ZTE to allow it’s end-users to enjoy the full Android experience.
In terms of camera, the Grand X have a 5 megapixel rear camera and a mere 0.3 megapixel in the front.
You can add to this the now standard Bluetooth, DLNA, Wi-Fi and GPS functionalities.
The ZTE Grand X is set to be released this coming August in the UK via Phones 4U and Virgin Media. The latter will offer it for free with a £19 per month or for £189.99 on a Prepay plan.
