The tablet market is booming in India, after iBerry’s low cost Ice Cream Sandwich tablet, it is now Zync’s turn to launch an affordable Android tablet.
The Zync Z-990, runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 7-inch multi-touch screen. The Z-990 is powered by a 1.2Ghz processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM expandable to 32GB.
Some interesting feature of this low-cost tablet besides the 0.3 megapixel front camera, is that it features a full size USB port. You can use this USB port with pen drives and 3G USB dongles among other things. Other connections means available with this tablet is via micro USB port and HDMI port. Not bad for a low cost tablet, as some more expansive don’t even have any of these features.
The price of this little marvel? Rs 8,990 (USD 180$). Now it all comes down to this, should you get an Iberry or Zync’s Z-990? Too much choice is like not enough, regardless, for this price, you can’t go wrong.
