As the world’s fastest quad-core smartphone the Huawei Ascend D quad is powered by the Huawei’s K3V2 quad-core 1.2GHz/1.5GHz processor. With a slim design, this 4.5 inch smartphones runs on the latest Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
We’ve listened to people’s top demands from smartphones: speed, long-battery life, high quality visual and audio capabilities, and a compact, lightweight handset. The Huawei Ascend D quad exceeds these expectations,
said Richard Yu, Chairman of Huawei Device.
It is one thing to have a powerful phone, but if your battery doesn’t provide then its basically useless and that’s why Huawei included it’s proprietary power management system which provides up to 30% in energy savings. We’ll have to see how it really does in real life, hard to beat the Motorola Razr Maxx.
An 8 megapixel rear camera along with a 1.3 megapixel front camera complete the specs of this superphone
The Huawei Ascend D quad will be available in China, Australia, Europe, Asia-Pacific, North and South America, and the Middle East in the second quarter of 2012. Will Huawei be able to make its way as a high quality brand? Only time will tell, specs wise on paper they look great for now.
