Tablet prices are falling fast, after HP’s TouchPad firesale and BlackBerry’s PlayBook price drop, it is now time for the HTC Flyer to get a price drop.
Best Buy announced in a news release that it dropped the price of the 7-inch Android tablet from $499 to $299, a very nice $200 discount. The HTC Flyer tablet runs on a single core 1.5 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. For now, the tablet runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but this may all change as the Ice Cream Sandwich version is due very soon.
So if you’re looking for a very decent Android tablet priced reasonably, the HTC Flyer may be for you. Or you can always wait for the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet. But then again, who knows which other tablet is going to price drop? Any ideas?
