Movie amateurs, Android lovers, get ready for Netflix latest version. This new update to the Android Netflix app is now compatible with most Android smartphones.
If you have Android 2.2 Froyo or Android 2.3 Gingerbread as most Android users do, then you’re all set for this new Netflix update.
Netflix previous version was only compatible with a select number of Android phones, with this new one, Netflix should be able to reach about 80% of the Android community.
Note that tablet users running Android 3.0 Honeycomb still don’t have the chance of running the Netflix app on their tablet.
Hopefully all these fragmentation problems should be resolved with the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich due this October/ November.
