Mobilicity announced this week the introduction of their latest Android powered smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Mini in Canada.
Alright, just to make things straight, this phone is no Samsung Galaxy S2, but rather an affordable introductory Android smartphone. The build quality is very good and features a 3.14-inch touchscreen. The Samsung Galaxy Mini will run Android 2.2 Froyo but is upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
What’s amazing thought is its price. For $169.99 you’ll have a fully functional Android phone with access to the Android Market and all your networking sites such as Facebook. On top of that, this phone can turn into a mobile hotspots for sharing your internet connection. Now thats an interesting feature for an introductory phone.
I think this phone is totally worth it for consumers with a tight budget. Note that tight budget does not have to be mean cheap as this phone is not a cheap product!
