After the Pizza Hut app, here comes the Domino Pizza app coming to an Android near you. With online sales representing 40% of their sales, Domino’s management just launched an Android app for pizza fans in Australia and New Zealand.
The app will have geo-localisation feature enabling you to locate the closest Domino store for pick-up orders. The app will also allow you to track your order and provide live updates of your order.
The original iPhone app which was launched in 2009 generated over $2 million in revenue in just its first three months. Domino Pizza is confident that the Android app addition will help generate similar revenues for Domino’s.
I didn’t know ordering pizza could become so high-tech!
