Samsung removing Galaxy Tab 7.7 from IFA shelves due to lawsuit

Its only been a few days that Samsung promoted its soon to be Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 inch tablet at the IFA show, that it already disappeared from the show.

The dual-core 7.7-inch super AMOLED screen tablet disappeared from the show not because it sold out, but rather because Samsung was ordered to remove it due to a court injunction. It is the same court injunction Samsung is dealing with against Apple at a Dusseldorf court. The injunction ordered Samsung to stop selling Galaxy tablets in Europe, from the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to its latest Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

As a reminder, this all started when Apple started suing the Korean manufacturer for copyright infringements. Apple claims that Samsung blatantly copied the design of the iPad and is seeking permanent ban of the Galaxy tablets line.

If Apple wins its case, this could have disastrous impact for Samsung as the Holiday season is approaching quickly. Lets see what the final injunction verdict will be as it is due this week on the 9th of September.
