Sonic the Hedgehog is making it’s way to Android. Sega is releasing the Android version of Sonic on Android devices first and announced that other platforms should follow shortly after.
This move by Sega just shows how Android is dominating the mobile eco systems thanks to its ease of app submission. It is also because of this ease that the Android world is crawling with malware.
Sonic is following Pokemon on android and this shows that smartphones are becoming more like gaming devices. Another example of this is the Sony Playstation phone.
The only game manufacturer we’re missing now is Nintendo. Will it make an android move too?
