Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ban lifted in Europe except for Germany

It seems like the ban on the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet has been temporarily lifted. In New Zealand at least as Vodafone carrier is expected to start selling the tablet for $999 this week.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been facing a ban distribution by Apple in Europe. The ban comes from an injunction that started in Germany and spread to Europe and Australia in the last few weeks.

However, it seems like the injunction has been temporarily suspended until a court hearing on August 25 in Germany. This means that Samsung is free to sell the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe except for Germany for the moment.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is currently Apple’s iPad greatest competitor amongst all Android tablets launched to date. No wonder it got banned after all the lawsuit going on these days in the Android world.
