When is the Samsung Galaxy S2 coming out in the US? Tough question, to which we don’t really have an official answer. Samsung posted a sign-up page on its website so its coming soon, when ? Who knows.
Now the next question is regarding all the variants US carriers will have for the Samsung Galaxy S2. Thanks to Pocketnow and TmoNews, we now know the Samsung Galaxy S2 will be coming for sure to T-Mobile. There is one trick thought, its not exactly the Samsung Galaxy S2, but rather a variant or more of a super Samsung Galaxy S2, the Samsung Hercule.
The Samsung Hercule will have a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen as opposed to the 4.2-inch of the Galaxy S2. The Hercule will be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.
The Samsung Hercule will have two cameras and as its name implies its really a hercule, the device will support HSDPA up to 42 Mbps.
Last but not least, the phone will supposedly come with NFC. That’s right, NFC should be available on the Samsung Hercule. Note that NFC functionality does not seem to be part of the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Samsung Hercule has also been spotted in Canada under the Telus network, so, yes this device is true and should be launched on September 26th in the US under T-Mobile.
