The LG Optimus 3D, also known as the LG Thrill 4G in the US, is supposedly launching August 7 on AT&T. The LG Thrill 4G is an Android phone running Android 2.2 Froyo. The Thrill is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and dual-channel RAM.
What’s unique about it is the presence of two 5 megapixel cameras on its back to record and take 3D pictures/ videos. You can watch all this on your phone without those bulky blue/red 3D glasses. The 3D trend is also available from HTC with the HTC Evo 3D. The LG Thrill 4G also features a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
The LG Thrill 4G will support AT&T HSPA+ 4G network, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth among other things. The LG Thrill 4G will be available for $99.99 with a two-year agreement on AT&T.
3D sure could be a lot of fun, but is it really good? How often would anyone uses the 3D functions? Do you? Let us know!
