Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is available in Canada. You can pick it up from Bell or Virgin Mobile for $169.99 with a 3 year contract. The phone is also available at electronics stores such as Best Buy.
If you don’t like contract, Bell and Virgin also offer the Samsung Galaxy S2 for $599.99 with no string attached. Mind you the phone is locked with them.
So at last, the Galaxy S2 is available in North America. The United States should also get their version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 this coming August.
A frequent question we get asked is if the Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with NFC. The answer is if you dont have the version from Korea, then no your Samsung Galaxy S2 does not have NFC. I mean getting the S2 was already long enough, I can’t imagine how long one would have to wait to get the NFC version. The successor of the S2 should have the NFC thought, by then the market will be more prepared for it too.
Till then, lets enjoy what we have for now!
