MetroPCS is getting ready to receive another Android device, the Samsung SCH-R720 or simply called the Admire.
This mid-range Android phone, will feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen. The Admire will be powered by an 800 MHz processor and will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread overlayed by Samsung TouchWiz UI. A simple 3.2 megapixel camera will allow you to take decent pictures and the Admire will run on 3G network. Basic options such as Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi will come standard on the Samsung Admire.
The MetroPCS Samsung Admire is expected to launch this coming fall, around September. Expected price should be around $149.99 with a two-year contract.
Note that this is an estimated price. But if it is correct, I’ll probably sign-up for something a little bit more powerful like the Huawei Ascend 2 for example or the HTC myTouch 4G.
