Viewsonic is preparing to launch its second Windows 7/ Android tablet after the Viewsonic ViewPad 10, the Viewsonic ViewPad 10 Pro. This tablet will be running Windows 7 OS and Android 2.2 Froyo OS. This tablet combines the best of both worlds, Windows 7 when you need it, for work purpose, word editing and more. On the other hand, you can access the Android side of your tablet just by the touch of a button.
This 10-inch tablet will run an Intel Oak Trail 1.5GHz processor and just got FCC approval for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Viewsonic ViewPad 10 Pro will have 2GB of memory, and a built-in 32GB solid state drive. The Viewsonic tablet will have one 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, G-Sensor and an ambient light sensor.
Pricing and due date have yet to be determined.
All in all the concept is good, but is a Windows/ Android tablet really useful? I must admit to some extent, but I guess that really depends on how you use it. What do you think? Let us know!
