LG released the white version of the Optimus Black phone in Netherlands. Local carrier Sizz will be offering the white version of the LG phone for free under certain plans.
The white LG Optimus Black is also available for pre-order in the UK to work with Vodafone, Orange and O2 carriers. The shipping date for the device will be July 15.
India will also get its share of the white LG Optimus Black with a retail price of INR 19,990 (USD $450).
The LG Optimus Black or this white edition of it is the same as the original Optimus Black aside from the color.
Specs wise, this super slim LG phone, features a 4-inch Nova touchscreen which is 50% more energy efficient than conventional LCD screen. The Optimus Black will run Android 2.2 Froyo but should get an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread soon. For the moment, the only news we have regarding this single-core 1GHz phone is that it will eventually be available in pink. No date has been released for the pink version but I hope they really rename this phone, its really getting confusing…
