Australia Vodafone Wireless carrier has gotten itself two exclusive Facebook phone, the HTC Chacha and HTC Salsa.
The HTC Chacha also known as the HTC Status in the US features a 2.6-inch touchscreen as well as a full physical QWERTY Keyboard. The HTC Salsa features a 3.4-inch touchscreen. Both phone are powered by an 800 MHz processor and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense UI.
Both phone have a 5-megapixel from which you can take pictures and upload them to your Facebook. The dedicated Facebook at the bottom of the phone allows you to always remain in touch with your friends. Social networking at its best, just a button away.
Both Facebook phones are exclusive to Vodafone Australia and should be available starting July 6. Handsets are available for free when signing up a 2 year contract on either the $29 Cap plan or the $45 Infinite plan.
The HTC Chacha is also available on prepaid for $299 but locked to Vodafone.
