T-mobile is releasing the best Android camera smartphone – the myTouch 4G Slide.
The HTC myTouch 4G Slide is aimed at photographers. That’s right, if you love taking pictures, this phone is for you.
But lets start with the usual specs and save the best for last. The HTC myTouch 4G Slide features a 3.8-inch screen and as its name implies, the phone slides in landscape mode revealing a 4-row QWERTY keyboard.
The myTouch 4G Slide is powered by a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0 UI.
The phone will be available in 2 colors, khaki or black.
Now to the interesting part, this phone features an 8 megapixel and features a lot of camera functions for a smartphone. One of the feature the HTC myTouch 4G Slide has is the ability to start recording pictures as soon as the shutter is open. The camera records everything in a buffer and pulls out the picture from the cache should you need it.
Other features include panoramic shots, the ability to take pictures in low-light environment thanks to its backside sensor and wide aperture lens. The HTC myTouch 4G Slide also has a burst mode allowing sequential shots instantaneously.
This camera smartphone has no 3D capabilities like the LG Optimus 3D or the HTC Evo 3D, but it sure has a very good camera lens, and a great physical keyboard.
T-Mobile will start offering the HTC myTouch 4G Slide in July for $200 after a $50 rebate with a two-year data plan.
