Huawei is often associated with lower end budget Android phone. Well they did it again this time in Australia with the introduction on July 1st of the Huawei X1.
The Huawei X1 is a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen phone powered by a single core 528 MHz processor and weighing just 100 grams.
The Huawei X1 features Android 2.2 Froyo and will have a 3.2 megapixel camera. It will also have Wi-Fi, HSDPA with up to 7.2Mbps download speed, Bluetooth and GPS.
All this in exclusivity on Optus for the amazing low price of $99.
Mark Treadwell Huawei’s head of marketing states:
The IDEOS X1 is the perfect choice for consumers wanting a smartphone that gives them quick and easy access to all the apps they love, without draining their wallets,
For this price I guess even if its a lower-end device, you can’t really go wrong, I mean an Android device for $99? Wow, just wow.
