HTC is preparing to launch the famous HTC Evo 3D in the UK next month in July. The phone is already available in the US and Vodafone in the UK is already starting to promote the 3D glasses-free handset.
The HTC Evo 3D features a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, and just like its rival the LG Optimus 3D allows you to watch 3D images/ movies without those old clumsy glasses. This multimedia phone features a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 1GB of ROM.
The device will have in total 3 different cameras. In the front, facing you, there will be a 1.3 megapixel camera. In the back you will have two 5 megapixel cameras with LED flash. It is the combination of these two cameras that allows you to record or take 3D pictures should you want to.
At the core of the phone, you will find Android 2.3 Gingerbread overlayed with HTC’s Sense.
The news of the release has been made official by the company on its Facebook fan page with the following statement:
We’re happy to announce that our first 3D superphone, the HTC EVO 3D, is coming to Europe. It will be hitting UK shelves from July!
So if you were planning to upgrade your phone, you may want to wait just a little bit and see what the HTC Evo 3D can bring you.
