[UPDATE] : This phone is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray unveiled during the CommunicAsia 2011 in Singapore.
For those of you who thinks that all the new 4-inches and plus smartphones are too big, well then you should take a look at Sony Ericsson’s next phone the ST18i or Urushi.
Here’s a picture of the Sony Ericsson ST18i Urushi thanks to the folks at GSMArena.
The ST18i – Urushi is supposed to be just like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, but just in a smaller package. Rather than having a 4.2-inch display like the Xperia Arc, the Urushi will have a smaller 3.2-inch display.
The Urushi ST18i will be powered by a single-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor with 335MB of RAM. The device will run the latest Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread overlayed by Sony’s own UI.
Just like its bigger brother the Xperia Arc, the Sony Ericsson Urushi will have an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash.
No official statement has been issued yet by Sony Ericsson, but a launch at the beginning of Q3 is possible.
