Fujitsu is reportedly entering the tablet arena with a 7-inch Android tablet.
The tablet will run Android 3.1 update to Honeycomb 3.0 and should be release in the third quarter of 2011.
Details regarding this tablet are scarce for the moment. No name have been assigned yet. Possible processor powering this tablet could be the dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 or even the new Intel Atom processor. Price range given by Fujitsu for this tablet is really wide, ranging from $347 to $694. I guess it really depends on the functionality of this tablet and where Fujitsu will manufacture it. Most likely, as the source comes from Fujitsu Taiwan, Fujitsu will outsource production to a local Taiwanese company.
More details to come later in the summer regarding this 7-inch Android tablet from Fujitsu.
