T-Mobile announced at the CTIA Wireless trade show in Orlando the introduction of the next generation of smartphone device – the dual-core based LG G2x.
This Android smartphone will run on T-Mobile’s 4G network. Powered by a dual-core CPU and a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, the LG G2x is ready to deliver a fast Web browsing and gaming experience. Loaded with Android Froyo 2.2, the G2x comes with a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, an 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera an accelerometer, and a gyroscope.
The LG G2x comes with 8GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot for memory up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.1 and built-in 3.5mm headphone jack.
LG claims that power consumption will be low for this dual-core device, without sacrificing performance for impressive game play such as preloaded “Need for Speed SHIFT HD”.
Furthermore, the G2x will handle multitasking like no other devices today thanks again to its dual-core CPU.
