LG’s latest flagship phone is coming soon. The Optimus G2 phone which should be making it’s debut this fall, is fueling rumors on different tech websites regarding it’s official specs.
From recent leaked pictures we can see that the Optimus G2 should be a fairly large phone (5 inch maybe) and bears resemblance with Samsung Galaxy Note 2. That is from the front side. But aside from this resemblance, the LG flagship phone definitely has a design of it’s own.
Just looking at the back of the phone and you’ll find the power and sound button uniquely positioned under the camera and flash. Is it really the best place for those buttons? Who knows, maybe it’ll become intuitive as soon as we play with it.
The Optimus G2 should be powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon processor, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM and a 13 megapixel camera.
Software wise, we’ll have to see what LG has in store for us. Hopefully the Optimus G2 won’t have too much bloatware, but there isn’t much we can do at that level unless we’re dealing with a Nexus device.
Let’s just wait for LG’s next month presentation at NYC on August 7. Hopefully it’ll have a nice price tag attached to it too.
