Android lovers in Japan rejoice, Amazon is opening its Appstore in Japan as of today. After conquering the US market, as well as the European market in France, Italy, Germany , Spain and the U.K, Amazon is spreading to Asia via Amazon Japan.
Following its business model in other location in the world, Amazon Japan will also have a free app of the day. The Appstore in Japan will bring to Japanese consumers hits such as Cut the Rope and Angry Birds.
Amazon is hoping to spread its Android domination in Asia with its Appstore, one of the biggest market in world. For now, the Appstore is available in Japan only delivering and promoting local apps. Hopefully other Asian countries will be able to have their own Appstore in order to enjoy fully the Amazon Kindle.
