It seems like that Motorola is preparing a new smaller tablet than the Xoom. The tablet has been spotted by the folks at the Verge (aka, This is My Next) and it seems to be a 7-inch touchscreen tablet.
The 7-inch format is getting more and more popular as manufacturers such as Samsung and HTC have released 7-inch tablets with the Galaxy Tab 7.7 and HTC Flyer respectively. Very few details are available on this tablet other than the fact that it will most likely be running Android 3.2 Honeycomb optimized for smaller screen tablets. The Motorola 7-inch tablet is much thinner than the current Xoom model and may have ports such as micro-USB and micro-HDMI available on it.
What is this tablet going to be? No one knows with certainty, but it seems like the Google Motorola acquisition is already producing new products.
