Is Motorola trying to fill in RIM’s shoes? Well kind of with its latest Android phone the Motorola Pro +. This Android phone features a 3.1-inch touchscreen along with full QWERTY keyboard underneath.
The Motorola Pro+ is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The phone comes with 4GB of memory which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card. Pictures can be taken thanks to the 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash.
As a true business phone, you’ll have access documents thanks to Quickoffice Connect. In terms of security you’ll be able to remote wipe your phone/ SD card. Furthermore, the Motorola Pro+ can act as a 3G mobile hotspot allowing up to five Wi-Fi connections.
The phone is set to be released in Europe and Asia this fall. A US release is yet to be determined.
