Google is preparing to introduce it’s next update to Android with Ice cream sandwich 4.0, a mixed OS combining the best of both Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread for smartphones and Android 3.2 Honeycomb for tablets.
With this new OS, we are expecting the release of Google’s Nexus Prime made by Samsung the first Android to be running Ice cream sandwich.
The Google Samsung Nexus Prime features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen with a 1280 x 720 resolution. The Nexus Prime is rumored to be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
With specs like this, Google is really preparing to go head to head against Apple’s iPhone 5 which is also expected to launch this coming October.
