So it seems like the Samsung Galaxy S2 is finally coming out in the US. In a tweet message on Samsung Mobile U.S, Samsung stated the following:
Hey Guys! Big announcement on the 29th 😉
Other than the long awaited Samsung Galaxy S2, there isn’t anything else at the moment that can surpass the announcement of an eventual launch of the dual-core super-phone.
Samsung already sold millions of copies of the Galaxy S2 in the world, and that’s without counting the US yet.
In the US thought, it seems like each carrier will tweak and rename the device to their own.
AT&T will rename it Galaxy Attain, Sprint will call it Galaxy Within and Verizon the Galaxy Function.
The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S2 will most likely coincide with the launch of Apple’s iPhone 5. Just as a sign that nothing is going well anymore between Samsung and Apple, the iPhone maker won a ban injunction against Samsung in Europe and Australia halting sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
