It may seem that we’re going to have a heated fall. With rumors that the iPhone 5 will be released around September/ October, it seems like Google is also pushing with a release of its own. Google may be pushing its next Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich this coming October.
But wait, for the Ice Cream Sandwich OS to be released, you need a phone, or at least its better. What about Google’s flagship device Nexus?
Google will most likely release the next generation of its Nexus phone this October with Ice Cream Sandwich OS in an attempt to stop or slow down Apple’s iPhone 5 sales. That’s right, original Motorola Droid owners are due for a new phone since the device has been on the market for two years now. Will they pick Apple’s iPhone 5? or just another Android device?
Hard to say, but if Google’s Nexus do get released this October, it will surely have an impact on Apple’s sales.
The only thing I hope, is that if they really do rush Ice Cream Sandwich and Google’s Nexus, I hope that quality won’t suffer.
