MetroPCS just got itself a very affordable Android phone from Huawei. The Huawei M835 is actually a rebranded Huawei Ideos device (or Comet on T-Mobile) and features a 2.8-inch touchscreen.
This cheap Android device will run Android 2.2 Froyo and will have a 3.2 megapixel camera. It will also have bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microSD card support. This phone is cheap, but still a very good phone for those who want to have a taste of the Android world.
The phone can be yours for only $79.99 from MetroPCS with the current $50 rebate. Without the rebate, this phone will cost you $129.99, so enjoy it while you can, at this price you really don’t have much to lose.
The Huawei M835 from MetroPCS is targeting the lower Android market as the Huawei Glory is on Cricket Wireless. These phone are no Samsung Galaxy S2 but are good Android introductory phones.
